Surprising ways to use Hand Sanitiser

Saturday, April 17th, 2021Healthy LivingAdmin

Surprising Ways to use Hand Sanitizer

Your Hand Sanitizer serves more purpose than you ever knew. It is quite an interesting fact that the pandemic made us use them often. It became a hot commodity in the face of Covid19. Everywhere you go, the hand rub is there to keep your hands free from germs, while going about our daily hustle. It indeed kills germs. However, there is more to it. These uses for hand sanitizer we are about to list out are bound to surprise you. Who knew it was so versatile? Sit back and relax as we share with you some multi-purpose uses of this disinfectant.

Polish your Phone screen
Your phone is one of the things we hold every now and then. It is time to make it look brand new again. Get a clean cloth or cotton wool and dab hand sanitiser on it. Afterwards, wipe your phone screen and watch it become smudge-free. Oh, and you could use it to clean your car mirrors and windows as well, which is pretty impressive.

Clean Household Items
Hand sanitiser has an alcohol content that makes it great for cleaning household items. Try it on sinks, faucets, countertops, and other surfaces. It wipes away specks of dirt. Also, it is safe to clean your computer keyboard with it.

Remove Sticky Labels
Do you have New Ankara fabrics? And need to remove the sticky label on it? We have a gist for you. Hand sanitiser comes in handy here. The alcohol in the sanitiser helps to dissolve the adhesive in the sticker glue. All you need to do is rub a bit into the spot and let it sit for a couple of minutes, then scrape it off.

Deodorize your shoes
We bet you have never known about this method. Sweaty feet often lead to stinky shoes, but they don't have to stay that way. Get rid of that funky smell with Hand Sanitisers. All you need to do is to clean the inside of your shoes with them. Afterwards, leave your shoes overnight to dry.

Remove Scuff Marks
Have scuff marks on your shoes? Don't worry you can fix it. It turns out hand sanitiser is one of the many things that can remove dark marks on light shoes. Dap a little hand sanitiser on the dark marks and watch it go off after leaving it for some minutes.

Shocked right?

There are many more uses we didn’t buttress above, like disinfecting minor wounds for quick first aid, disinfecting makeup brushes after washing them and erasing permanent markers from whiteboards, clothing and walls. Nothing beats a clean home. Now that you are aware of the multi-purpose uses of hand sanitisers, restock your home with them.

Have you used Hand sanitisers to do any other thing aside from the list we dropped above? We will love to know in the comment section

It's a pleasure hearing from you. Thank you for stopping by

Cinnamon is used mainly as an aromatic condiment and flavouring additive in various cuisines, sweet and savoury dishes, breakfast cereals, snack foods, teas, and traditional foods. But do you know where Cinnamon is gotten from?
