Soy Bean Milk Recipe

Soy Milk is one of the most wholesome beverages you could ever imagine. It has the best source of protein because of its amino acid. It is rich in fatty acid, fibre, vitamin and minerals. It is a healthy alternative to the regular cow milk we drink at home. A glass of soya milk every morning gives you an exciting kick to start your day on an exciting note. You can complement it with biscuits and have it as breakfast, or you can decide to refrigerate it and enjoy it with any snack of your choice. Every adult and children need the yummy taste and health benefits of Soybean milk.

 Ingredients
Soybeans
Date Syrup/Sugar
Tiger Ginger Powder
Utensils
A deep pot
Sieve
Cheese/Pap Cloth

Steps
Pick the Soybeans to remove stones and specks of dirt.

Place in a large bowl, pour enough water to cover the beans (about twice the height of the beans). Then leave to soak(rehydrate) overnight or for at least 8 hours.

After 8 hours, wash and remove the soybeans chaff. In a food processor or blender, process Soybeans with enough water until smooth.

Strain into a pot through a cheesecloth or a fine sieve. Add Tiger Ginger Powder and date or sugar to taste. Boil soy milk for 15 minutes. As it boils, remove the foam and stir to prevent it from burning.

Viola Soymilk is Ready. That was easy peasy.
